Earlier his week On Monday, 30/10/2017, Wizkid made an emotional visit to Surulere, where he began his music journey. The singer’s appearance in the Surulere environs, was a big surprise to residents of the area who gathered in mass to have a feel of what it is like in the presence of one the successful “sons of Surulere.” It was like a massive homecoming for the Star boy and it confirms his status as the “man of the people.”Social media has been flooded with pictures and videos of Wizkid’s visit to his roots in Surulere. About Tye Tribbett


New Jersey-based gospel singer, songwriter, choir director, and multi-instrumentalist Tye Tribbett formed the ensemble Tye Tribbett & Greater Anointing, or G.A., in the late ’90s. The group was asked to back country superstar Faith Hill on her tour in 2000, resulting in a flurry of appearances and recording work with everyone from Will Smith, Usher, and Mary Mary to Don Henley, Justin Timberlake, and Sting. Their first official recording, “Let Go, Let God” appeared on Dreamworks’ Prince of Egypt compilation in 1998. The live recordings Life and Victory Live followed in 2004 and 2006 on Columbia Records/Sony Gospel.




In 2010 he released his first album without Greater Anointing, simply titled Fresh. Now pursuing a solo career, he followed up in 2013 with the live offering Greater Than on the Motown Gospel label. It would prove to be a major success for Tribbett, earning him two Grammy Awards, including Best Gospel Album, in 2014. Over the next three years, he kept a busy touring schedule, ultimately culminating in the 2017 double album The Bloody Win, which featured live performances recorded the previous year at The Redemption Center in Greenville, South Carolina.

Harrysong who only recently got his hard-fought independence from 5-Star music, has released the tracklist for his sophomore album, which is titled “Kingmaker“. The album is set to be his second album and the first album to be released under the Alter Plate franchise and the expectation for the album is already sky-high especially with the success of his series of released singles, Arabanko, Samankwe and Record of Life.

According to his Instagram post, the album is set to drop later in the month.
