Ikpeazu Vs Ogah, Court Adjourns Hearing

 

According to ikengachronicles In the matter of “Lying Under Oath and presentation of False information by Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu”, currently before the Supreme Court, the court has adjourned hearing to a soon to be determined date.
The case, which is between Uchechukwu Sampson Ogah, and the Abia State governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu,was called up today. However, one of the panelists, Justice Augie had to recuse herself on the basis of an earlier petition filed against her where it was alleged that she influenced the composition of the Court of Appeal that gave victory to Alex Otti, in Otti versus Ikpeazu, election petition hearing in Owerri.
Justice Augie recused herself on the grounds that if the present case goes against Governor Ikpeazu, it would be taken that she may have also influenced it.
The case was therefore adjourned to a soon to be determined date that will be communicated to the parties involved.
