Anambra state has won the 2017 public service Excellence Awards in Health by emerging the best in the country.
The organizers of the Award, African Development Studies centre and the Guardian Newspapers also announced that the state emerged best in health in the south east zone as well as best in works and infrastructure in the zone.
The organizers explained that nomination and selection criteria were based on independent research conducted by the centre and proof of projects executed by the states.
According to a released signed by the Commissioner for Information and Communication Strategy, Ogbuefi Tony Nnacheta, the award ceremony will hold on Friday, 26 May 2017 at Eko Hotel and suites, Victoria Island Lagos.
